The construction of a scorecard of information technology in a company

The balanced scorecard is a popular enterprise level tool widely used to evaluate the performance of an organization, and has even become a management system to implement business strategies. Its application to the field of information technology (IT) has also spread widely as an instrument of strategic alignment and performance evaluation. However, companies often know how to design and effectively implement this valuable tool. This paper proposes a method to guide the construction of a balanced scorecard of IT in an organization that is in line with the business strategy, achieving necessary strategic alignment. The feasibility of application of the procedure was proven through the case study in a software company.Downloads
